Objeto del espacio cae en Petén el lunes pasado / Object From Space Fell On Petén Last Monday

El lunes pasado cayó en la región norte de Petén lo que parece ser un meteorito o escombros del espacio. Algunos habitantes escucharon un ruido ensordecedor y vieron una luz, seguido de lo que pareció ser una explosión. Eddy Sánchez, director del Instituto Nacional de Sismología, Vulcanología, Meteorología e Hidrología dijo que se están investigando qué fue exáctamente el objeto que cayó, y cuando se tenga información exacta será anunciado a la prensa.

Last Monday what seems to be a meteorite or space debris fell in northern Petén . Some people heard a  deafening sound and saw a light, followed by what appeared to be an explosion. Eddy Sanchez, director of the National Institute of Seismology, Volcanology, Meteorology and Hydrology said that they are investigating what exactly is the object that dropped from the sky, and when they have accurate information they will announce it to the press.
