Una historia exitosa de adopción / The Story Of A Succesful Adoption

Los procesos de adopción internacional suelen ser muy largos, pero eso no impide a muchas parejas adoptar hijos fuera de su país. Un ejemplo exitoso que demuestra lo beneficiosas que son las adopciones es el de Cara Shaver, guatemalteca que estuvo en el Hogar Rafael Ayau, un orfanato ubicado en una parte peligrosa de Guatemala. Fue adoptada por David y Melissa Shaver cuando tenía 3 años de edad, y aunque no recuerda el tiempo que pasó en el orfanato está muy encariñada con él. Le encanta volver y ayudar en lo que pueda. Incluso ha fundado Beads of Hope, un proyecto que vende rosarios hechos a mano, marcapáginas, pulseras y ese tipo de cosas para ayudar a residencias de niños húerfanos y construir un nuevo edificio para ellos. An international adoption process can be very long, but that does not stop many couples from adopting children abroad. A successful example showing the benefits of adoption is Cara Shaver, a Guatemalan girl who lived in at the Rafael Ayau Home, an orphanage located in a dangerous part of Guatemala. She was adopted by David and Melissa Shaver when she was 3 years old, and although she does not remember her time at the orphanage, she is very fond of it. She loves to come back and help in every way she can.
